About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the TACP Department.

This role works within a multidisciplinary team to provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for clients in the community on the Transitional Aged Care Program and includes Case Management of clients as they progress through the 8-week program.

This role also provides clinical supervision to junior physiotherapists and/or allied health assistants, is involved in quality improvement projects within the Transitional Aged Care Team, liaises with community services/groups and health professionals to assist clients to achieve their TACP goals, and contributes to the education of the Community Aged Care Team and other community teams as required.

About you:

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
2. Evidence of Tertiary Qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency as a Physiotherapist.
3. Current NSW drivers’ license Class C or above.

4. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
5. Demonstrated effective communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills.

6. Demonstrated commitment to improving clinical practice and service delivery through leadership of quality improvement activities and ongoing professional development.
