Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis (40 hours per week)

Genea Nurses provide frontline care to our patients, supporting them along every step of their Fertility treatment. This role is unique, you will be working in an office environment interacting with our patients both over the phone and face-to-face. Alongside clinical duties, a significant proportion of your role will involve providing patient care, support, and education.

On a daily basis, your role will involve:

  • Patient face-to-face interviews and phone chats
  • Collaborating with doctors and scientists coordinating care, working together to tailor unique treatment plans for each patient.
  • Providing instructions to patients for the self-administration of IVF drugs
  • Providing results to patients over the phone and support at any point required
  • Maintaining accurate patient records, clinical data entry, and general administration duties associated with the role
  • Venepuncture (training provided)
  • Providing clinical support in Day Surgery, preparing for and assisting specialists with procedures

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (with a current AHPRA registration) who is genuinely interested in specialising in fertility for this role. You will have strong clinical skills, but also strong people skills as a large component of this role involves support and counselling. We are looking for empathetic Nurses, who can build rapport and provide genuine, authentic care to our patients.

As this role is office based you will also need strong administration skills and technical competence - at Genea, we work across a number of different IT systems which you will need to learn.
