The Role
Join our Performance Music Program as an Instrumental Music Teacher – Piano Specialist at Sheldon College. You'll be responsible for providing high-quality music instruction to students across various age groups and skill levels, nurturing their passion for music and helping them develop their piano skills.
This role involves teaching group and private lessons from Prep to Year 12, contributing to ensembles, and supporting student accompaniment as needed.
You'll create a respectful and inclusive learning environment, inspiring students to discover the joy of playing the piano through dynamic and collaborative teaching methods.
This role is Part Time 0.8; Fixed Term for Term 4 commencing 30th September 2024 through to 3rd December 2024.

The Sheldon College Performance Music Program as part of the Australian School of the Arts program is one of the most exciting and vibrant school music departments in Australia. We have over 30 ensembles and deliver 600 group and individual Music lessons per week in the areas of Woodwind, Brass, Percussion, Strings, Vocals, Guitar and Keyboard.
Sheldon College is an independent, co-educational, non-denominational College situated in Redland City, catering for students from 15 months through to Year 12.
