Typical projects you will be involved with include sugar milling infrastructure design, bulk storage terminal loading and unloading facilities, Naval Ship system capability upgrades, large industrial boiler systems, co-generation and hydro power plants and bespoke machine and component design.



Skills And Experiences

About The Role:

Your role as a Mechanical Engineer at EDMS Australia shall include:

  1. Production of high-quality engineering products and services
  2. Provision of investigation, research, design and design calculation for mechanical plant and steel structures associated with mechanical plant
  3. Interpretation and application of relevant Australian Standards, Industry Rules and Statutory Regulations to satisfy mechanical engineering design objectives and requirements
  4. Promotion and development of a broader client base and product/service offering

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from an Engineers Australia recognised University;
  • A minimum of 3 years professional engineering experience;
  • A willingness to attain RPEQ registration with progressive experience and support provided by EDMS Australia;  
  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical design within the industrial and/or process industry;
  • Excellent computer-based software experience in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel; and
  • Proven capability to manage competing priorities effectively, to meet project deadlines.
