At Delta, we’re looking for someone like you to bring your technical skills to our dynamic Assets Management team at Vales Point Power Station. The key responsibilities of the role include:

  1. Plan and Manage Assets: Develop and implement strategies to keep our equipment and facilities in top condition. This includes planning, updating, and seeking expert advice.
  2. Preventive Maintenance: Set up systems to prevent issues before they arise. Monitor, analyse, and address potential problems.
  3. Technical Guidance: Provide support and advice to team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  4. Oversee Projects and Contracts: Manage external contracts and lead projects, ensuring they meet our quality, budget, and timeline goals.
  5. Budget Oversight: Create and manage budgets for plant areas, balancing company and operational needs.
  6. Spare Parts and Inventory: Manage strategic spares and inventory to control costs while ensuring availability.
  7. Compliance: You’ll make sure all our asset management activities follow safety, environmental, and legal requirements.

About You:

  • You have degree qualifications in Engineering along with both practical and theoretical engineering experience
  • You bring in-depth knowledge of modern power stations or other heavy industry and have an interest in working with large process plant
  • You’ve successfully managed projects from start to finish, adeptly planning, executing, and staying within budget
  • You are an analytical problem solver and enjoy sharing your knowledge to achieve outstanding results as a team
  • Your track record includes managing various contracts with impressive commercial outcomes
  • You value your team and are committed to developing and mentoring others around you towards success
  • You enjoy building relationships across all levels and have outstanding communication skills
  • You are dedicated to both process and personal safety, ensuring that all activities meet the highest standards and compliance requirements
