Mechanic - Leading Hand (Narangba/Park Ridge, QLD)

• $44.99 per hour plus super plus OT
• Flexible start times Monday to Friday, some weekend work available
• Full-time permanent role based in either Narangba or Park Ridge QLD

The Opportunity 

Based in either our Narangba or Park Ridge workshops we are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team! You will perform routine and un-planned servicing to our varied fleet of assets. Reporting to our Equipment Manager as a part of a 50+ vehicle fleet, day to day you will be responsible for tasks including diagnostics, servicing, troubleshooting and repair work. Additionally, as a senior and experienced member of our team, you will also assist with planning the daily operations of the workshop.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

• Certificate III in Engineering (Heavy Diesel Mechanic) or equivalent 
• Valid HR licence
• Mechanical experience with a range of heavy vehicles
• Focus on safety and sustainability
• Complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test

Waste industry experience is not essential, however possessing a good attitude, being reliable and having a willingness to learn is. Ideally our suitable candidate will have some experience in electrics and/or hydraulics to support our business to thrive.
