The Position
We welcome applications from passionate and dynamic mathematic educators. This is a full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025. Reporting to the Head of Mathematics, the successful candidate will be able to deliver high-quality instruction across years 7-12.
Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of curriculum content, be able to use technology to support your teaching and understand the individual learning needs of students and develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement.
Our Mathematics Faculty provides our students with every opportunity to achieve a high level of success at VCE but also to explore areas of Mathematics that sit beyond the standard curriculum. For our students, there is also a strong focus on problem solving and ample opportunities to excel in extension classes, coding and through a wide range of competitions.
Qualifications and Requirements
Our teachers are expected to participate in and support our commitment to our students to ensure they have a well-rounded school experience encompassing curriculum, co-curricular and pastoral care in addition to participating in our sporting program through coaching and managing sport teams.
