Confluence Water, the Joint Venture of Ventia/Downer/Jacobs, delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services to all of Sydney Water's Sites in the North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

 

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will work Monday to Friday in our Lower Hawkesbury Hub, overseeing maintenance activities across Wastewater Treatment Plants. This role focuses on operational maintenance and minor projects, with a specific emphasis on optimising plant reliability and performance. Working closely with our central operations team, you will manage ongoing maintenance operations, ensuring the smooth running of essential water infrastructure in collaboration with Sydney Water. Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervising and coordinating maintenance activities on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards across water and wastewater assets.
  • Leading a team in daily maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
  • Managing maintenance schedules, prioritising tasks, and ensuring timely completion of work.
  • Liaising with Sydney Water and other stakeholders to ensure smooth maintenance operations and effective communication.

 

About You:

 

  • You come from a mechanical or electrical trades background, ideally within the water and wastewater industry.
  • You have proven supervisory experience and the ability to lead a maintenance team.
  • Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Multitasking and the ability to prioritise tasks in a high-demand environment come naturally to you.
  • You’re eager to progress your career within the essential services sector, particularly in water and wastewater management.
