If you’re the go-to person, the one who answers the questions, with the know-how to keep facilities running like clockwork? Sodexo is seeking a qualified Licenced Plumber wanting a lifestyle change and join our Building Maintenance team in Jabiru, NT.

This role is 14 days on 7 days off - 11hours per shift working on site in Jabiru transport to/from site provided and accommodation and meals whilst on site.

Who are we looking for?  

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Plumber is expected to work on their own and at times as part of team to perform preventative and reactive maintenance schedules and ensure all equipment is operational. Your key duties will be repairs, maintenance, installations and management of property across our all facilities on sites including work in residential, commercial and industrial areas.  It is also a requirement to perform pre-start up checks on equipment, maintain the maintenance register, ensure inventory levels are maintained and order supplies as required. Candidates must have:

  • Current unrestricted advanced Tradesman NT Plumbers & Drainers licence and NT Gas Fitter licence 
  • Current Driver Licence
  • General Construction Induction (i.e. ‘White’) card
  • Australian Citizenship or full Australian working rights  
  • Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and police check 
  • Working at heights (within 2 years) - not essential but preferred 
  • High Risk Licence (EWP) - not essential but preferred 

You will have experience in diagnosing, repairing and installation of commercial, domestic and industrial systems preferable in a remote site or camp is highly regarded. You will demonstrate proven experience building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure prompt and professional service in dealing with all stakeholders. You will display a strong team focus with excellent customer service, ensure presentation and service is carried out to the client standards, plus have excellent time management skills, adhere to all workplace safety requirements and carry out other reasonable duties as designated by your supervisor.

You will be highly organised with the ability to prioritise work orders, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work without constant supervision and a positive attitude.
