An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Maintainer Mechanical to join our dynamic and successful team.  As a valued member of the team and reporting directly to the Maintenance HME Crew Supervisor, this multifaceted role will see you undertaking preventative and breakdown maintenance, servicing, component replacements, component overhauls, general repairs, and fault diagnostics. You will also support the team to deliver cost effective and reliable performance against the key deliverables defined by the maintenance plan.  

To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic team environment as a qualified tradesperson with 3+ years’ experience in the Mining industry. You will be a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic team environment. You will demonstrate proven experience in the service and repair of Komatsu electric drive trucks and Caterpillar mining equipment. Have a passion for driving continuous improvement of equipment performance, be a highly organised, solutions focused professional who is responsive, intuitive, innovative, self-motivated and driven to achieve great outcomes.

This role is a wonderful opportunity for you no matter your circumstance. You will have the option to either live locally in one of the communities that surround our operation or stay on site in our amazing village. We are only a one and quarter hour drive from the beautiful Mackay hinterland and a two- and half-hour drive from Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands and have a diverse group of people at our operation commuting from multiple locations in Queensland such as Rockhampton and Townsville, to name a few.
