Tasks and responsibilities
We are seeking a Trailer Mechanic to join our Workshop team on a full time basis. The successful candidate will work to ensure the roadworthiness of Centurion's trailers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on trailers to ensure roadworthiness
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with precision
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and maximize fleet efficiency
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address and resolve complex problems
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs conducted on each trailer
Skills and Experiences
- Previous experience in a similar position or equivalent
- A proven background working on all types of trailing equipment with limited supervision
- Mechanical aptitude with good organisation skills
- Willingness to comply with company procedures and values
