Spread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team!

The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in Hunter NSW.

Bananas, jelly beans, musk sticks and more... What's your all time favourite lolly? Make everyone’s day by pushing a trolley with all kinds of sweet treats around to residents who are living with dementia in our aged care home in Waratah. You’ll bring joy to each of our residents every time you enter the room.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

HammondCare

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare.
