Leading Hand Cleaner (159492)

In partnership with the Australia Defence Force, we have a new role available for a Leading Hand Cleaner to join our team at Defence Plaza Melbourne.

Join an essential services business, working Full Time between Monday to Friday (6:30am to 2:30pm) in a friendly and supportive team of cleaners.

Uniforms and all cleaning equipment provided.

Key Duties:

• Managing a dynamic team to provide encouraging guidance and success in their work
• Hands on general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting high-touch areas etc
• Developing rosters of scheduled and reactive cleaning requirements
• Encourage team commitment and motivation
• Supervising the cleaning team members
• Supporting the Cleaning Manager on staff-related matters.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience leading a team
• Cleaning experience 
• Good understand of OHS and environmental policies and procedures
• Good communication and time management skills.
• An eye for detail and being proactive.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team

You must be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.
