Part-time Junior Vet Nurse wanted for Greencross Marsden Park!

Located within a busy Petbarn store, our clinic has a big open plan layout with 2 spacious consult rooms, prep area and fully equipped surgery room. We have a lovely, loyal client base that continues to grow. Our team are focused on collaboration and team engagement, striving for a positive and motivating workplace culture. Our friendly team at Marsden Park are relaxed and approachable, welcoming and eager to train new team members, we have a great sense of humour and enjoy our work. We work mostly on dogs and also some cats, we have great cafes and shops across the road, and the clinic is easily accessible.

The primary responsibilities of this position will include:

• Permanent Part-time role
• Perfect opportunity for someone completing their Cert III or Cert IV
• Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
• Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
• Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone
• Administration duties when required

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities and expertise:

• Certificate II/III qualified
• Availability to work weekends
• Must have clinical experience with some knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
• Eager to learn
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A calm, friendly, team player attitude
• Experience using RxWorks will be highly regarded
