The opportunity:

To support the operation of Melbourne's largest bus franchise contract, we are seeking Heavy Vehicle Mechanics in our depots in Doncaster, Thomastown and North Fitzroy that would like to join our high-performing teams.

From general maintenance and repair tasks through to major engine component rebuilds, you’ll get a great variety of meaningful work across several vehicle makes and models to keep every day fresh and exciting. We’re also heavily focused on investing in our dedicated employees and have introduced an electric vehicle upskill program to help them become dual trade qualified (Diesel & Electric) which you can be a part of.

The boxes you'll tick:

  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
  • Previous experience in providing maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleet
  • Minimum MR license (HR license or above preferred but not essential)
  • Exposure to diagnostics via computer-controlled systems is a bonus
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
