The role


We have a unique opportunity for an innovative, engaging, and suitably qualified Health and Physical Education teacher to join our team. This position is full-time and fixed-term for at least one year, commencing in Term 3, 2024.

The Health and PE teacher is responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of a high quality sports and physical education programme that supports children in developing a wide range of skills and a healthy attitude towards social and physical activities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to best teaching practices and a goal-oriented, evidence-based approach to improving student learning outcomes. We are looking for an individual who exhibits a learning disposition in relation to all aspects of this position, striving for continuous improvement and bringing the required skills and experience.

The school has beautiful landscaped gardens, state-of-the-art sporting and classroom facilities, an extensive library, computer labs, science labs, shaded outdoor areas, a theatre room and many more modern conveniences.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (Master's preferred) - VIT registered
  • Knowledge of teaching and learning styles and study skills
  • Knowledge of the Victorian Year F-10 curriculum
  • The ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents
  • Have unrestricted work rights in Australia
