Vetcall Mudgeeraba have a unique opportunity for a Full time and highly motivated person to join our award-winning team in a leadership and mentoring role as our Head of Nursing.
The team recently won the AU/NZ Clinic of the year across our network of 270 clinics and are looking for someone to work closely with the clinical leaders as they continue to grow our business.
Vetcall Mudgeeraba is a very popular clinic with a strong following of clients from all over the Gold Coast. The clinic works on 4-5 vets per day and is supported by a nursing team of various skills and experience and a dedicated three strong client relations / Reception team. Their practice manager has 18 years’ experience and is focused on collaborative and inclusive work, wellbeing, and high standards of care.
This role will be a strong 2IC position, responsible for being that “day of operations coordinator” as well as surgery shifts, developing team members and contributing to workflow improvements.
The person we are looking for will possess or be ready to take the next step with support from our PM to demonstrate outstanding leadership, mentorship, training and organisation skills. You will be passionate about driving excellence across surgery, medicine and emergency care. The role requires you to continue to champion the cohesive and positive team and work environment we have built with an encouraging and can-do attitude.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certificate IV VN or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
3+ years’ experience post qualification
Knowledge of Ezyvet and Vet Radar would be advantageous but not necessary
Proven rapport building skills with colleagues, clients and the community
