Company Description

The team at Greencross Earlville, located in tropical Cairns, are looking for a new or recent graduate to join their team. 

The clinic is open Monday to Friday giving you ample time to explore the lush tropical rainforests, Great Barrier Reef, beautiful beaches, spectacular waterfalls, freshwater creeks and rivers, walking tracks, and camping grounds that are right on our doorstep. 

This would be a great opportunity for a graduate to join an experienced and supportive team, with plenty of mentoring.

Job Description

Working here you will exposed to all aspects of small animal practice. In addition, you will have the opportunity to examine and treat various native wildlife that is brought into clinic (wallabies, curlews, frogs, snakes, lizards, so many different birds!).

The clinic has an established and loyal client base - we have been operating for over 30 years. You will join an experienced team of vets, nurses and our groomer. The team work together to provide team-based care to their patients.

The clinic is spread over two levels, with 3 consult rooms (that have windows with natural sunlight), 2 treatment tables, surgical theatre, radiology room, isolation ward, post-op recovery cages, plus separate dog and cat wards. The entire top floor of the clinic is dedicated to the team (shower, bathroom, toilet, kitchen, dining area, lounge/mindfulness corner).

We have all the equipment you will need including dental x-ray, digital x-ray, ultrasound and inhouse pathology.
