The company is a national leader in the manufacture, distribution, and servicing of industrial, construction, and rural (farm) equipment. They have over 17 branch locations across Australia and New Zealand. Their equipment range includes Bobcat Skid Steer Loaders and Excavators, Develon Excavators and Loaders, and Doosan large Excavators and Wheel Loaders. They are renowned for their product range and breadth and have built a strong brand reputation over 70 years through their technical competency gained in designing and manufacturing heavy equipment. Due to ongoing growth in the business, they are looking for self-motivated and technically skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join their Perth branch. 


The Position...
 

In the position of Field Service Technician, you will be required to service and repair Materials Handling Equipment including Omega Heavy Lift Trucks and Container Handlers, Clark forklifts, and Terberg Terminal Tractors. Positions are also open for senior construction equipment technicians to join the team.

This position requires a self-motivated person with a proven work ethic who is capable of demonstrating an appropriate level of technical understanding of various MH equipment. 

The successful applicant will be required to perform the repairs and preventative maintenance on all machines and can confidently problem-solve complex and critical failure situations. The role requires directly dealing with clients, therefore you must demonstrate a high level of quality customer service.


The Ideal Candidate…
The ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Be a qualified technician with at least 5 years’ experience working in a similar role.
  • Product knowledge of materials handling equipment and attachments (highly advantageous).
  • Ability to diagnose and fault find.
  • LPG repair and fitting licence will be highly regarded.
  • Hold a valid Australian driver's licence.
  • A proven high level of customer service. 
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Capable of working within a team environment and working autonomously.
  • Demonstrate and maintain company WOHS & quality standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess a good understanding of computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
