What Aurora Dairies can offer you

Aurora Dairies are currently seeking a Farm Hand for a dairy farm in Woolsthorpe, located 20 minutes from Warrnambool in South West Victoria.

This farm is approximately 490ha with a majority of perennial pastures with some annual grass pastures. Currently milking 870 cows through a 80 bale rotary shed with ACR’s and auto teat spray, this farm is 70% Autumn and 30% Spring calving.

Shared accommodation may be available for the right employee and we may have full time or casual employment opportunities for your partner on a nearby farm, if required.

This role will include tasks the areas of:

• Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures.
• All aspects of milking.
• Animal husbandry.
• Pasture management.
• Machinery operation.
• Repairs and maintenance.

The desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:

• Past dairy industry experience is desirable for this position, but we may consider inexperienced applicants with the right attitude.
