What Aurora Dairies can offer you

Aurora Dairies are currently seeking a Farm Hand for a dairy farm in Tinamba West, located 15 minutes from Maffra in Victoria's Gippsland region. 

Whites is an approximately 210ha farm, predominatley pasture based with flood, spray and pivot irrigation. Currently milking 800 cows through a 50 bale rotary shed, this farm is 60% Spring and 40% Autumn calving rearing 250-300 replacements.

Accommodation may be available for the right employee and we may have full time or casual employment opportunities for your partner on a nearby farm, if required.

This role will include tasks the areas of:

• Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures.
• All aspects of milking.
• Animal husbandry.
• Pasture management.
• Machinery operation.
• Repairs and maintenance.

The desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:

• Past dairy industry experience is desirable for this position, but we may consider inexperienced applicants with the right attitude.
