Expressions of interest are sought from enthusiastic, highly motivated Enrolled Nurses who have a passion for providing service excellence and would like to join our General medical ward with some short stay surgical patients, proven experience in these areas. Ashford Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity, oncology, orthopaedics, urology and vascular surgery. Ashford Hospital has 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, an emergency department, maternity services, 24/7 cardiac emergency centre and a 24 bed level 3 critical care unit. 

 

Essential Criteria\: 

·       Current South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance

·       Current AHPRA Registration

·       Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards

·       Current evidence of vaccinations as required for the role

·       Committed to continuous quality improvement

·       Committed to provision of quality nursing care, education and customer service

·       Proven communication and interpersonal skills

·       Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands

·       Ability to work flexible hours

 If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the “Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch – Nurses’ & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement – 2021-2024 (‘Agreement’ or ‘Enterprise Agreement’)” (salaries range between $31.07-$37.13 per hour).
