About the Role
A school of Good Samaritan Education, Rosebank College, seeks expressions of interest for a temporary part-time (0.5 FTE) English Teacher to join the English Faculty for 15 months. This role is a job share arrangement and covers the job share partner’s substantive 1.0FTE position. This role is required to work the following days in the partnership arrangement:
This teaching position will commence Term 4, 2024, conclude at the end of Term 4, 2025, and report to the English Coordinator. It will work collaboratively within the English department and across all year groups, undertaking responsibilities within the team as required by the coordinator. The English department is highly successful and fosters a culture of continuous improvement committed to student-centered practice.
The College offers excellent support to all teachers to enable them to develop on their professional journey through professional development. All staff are required to be involved in the pastoral care of our students, demonstrate a commitment to the ideals and ethos of Catholic Education, and be willing to participate in extracurricular programs.
Applicants for this position must be excellent classroom practitioners, dedicated team players interested in the care and welfare of students, and have English teaching skills to equip them to contribute to the College’s educational program in teaching and learning. Applicants must also be skilled in using educational technology in the classroom. This position will allow creative and passionate teacher and their students to flourish.
