English Teacher

Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. We are seeking an English Teacher to join our dedicated team in a permanent full-time capacity to commence at the beginning of Term 1, 2025.

We seek a dynamic and engaging classroom teacher who brings creativity and rigor to curriculum delivery and thrives in a committed and professional team environment.

To be successful in securing this position you will have demonstrated teaching ability in English encompassing:

• experience in the current Senior HSC English Advanced and/or HSC English Standard
• experience in teaching 7-10 English
• experience in teaching the International Baccalaureate desirable
• the ability to successfully integrate ICT into the classroom
• the ability to differentiate in the delivery of curriculum
• a flexible and collegial approach
