Opal ANZ is an industry-leading paper and packaging business. We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest packaging companies in Australia as our Spearwood site is looking for an Electrician join the afternoon shift team!

They key responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):

• Good PLC knowledge and programming capability.
• Knowledge and experience with powered drives.
• Excellent understanding of WHS and Electrical isolation.
• IT and telecommunication Knowledge.
• Reading and understanding of Electrical schematics and drawings.

For this role we would ideally like you to have:

• Electrical A grade Licence Holder (this is required)
• Knowledge & experience in safe working practices/procedures
• Supportive team member, trustworthy with great work ethic
• Reliable, self-motivated
• Mature, can-do attitude
• Quick learner
• Effective communication (verbal & written) skills
• Computer Literacy – be able to operate basic word processor and databases
