Electrician (159526)

In partnership with the Australia Defence Force, we are looking for a qualified Electrician to join the team at HMAS Cerberus located in Crib Point, VIC. 

Reporting to the Leading Hand, this role will see you responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of the electrical systems via planned maintenance, breakdowns and emergencies as required.

This position is a full-time permanent role, working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00am - 03:30pm (with paid overtime opportunities) and 2x RDO (Rostered Day Off) per month. A company car (Tool of Trade vehicle) will also be provided for travel to and from the base each day.

Key duties, but not limited to: 

• Maintenance of services related to Electricity Supply via a private distribution network HV/LV
• Contribute to overall site maintenance and quality assurance
• Ensure inspection results are recorded online within quality standards
• Assist other trades as required
• Attend to breakdowns

Skills & Experience:

• Trade qualification in Electrical
• Victorian Electrical Licence 
• Experience in an Electrical role across commercial and industrial work environments 
• Electrical Supply experience advantageous 
• Extensive knowledge of relevant Australian Standard 
• High Risk Work Licence- EWP 
• Safe Working at Heights 
• LVR/CPR
• High Voltage Operators ticket
