Established in 2021, their team of skilled tradesmen deliver exceptional customer service and expertise in construction, agriculture, material handling, heavy machinery, forestry, and mining equipment.
The Opportunity:
Due to business growth, we're seeking multiple trade qualified heavy mobile plant mechanics or diesel fitters to join a small team working on mine sites throughout the Bowin Basin. Experience on heavy equipment is essential for these roles with experience on large mining loaders, bulldozers, scraper and drills highly regarded.
What you'll be doing:
Your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting vehicle and equipment maintenance, diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the proper functioning of heavy equipment.
What's on offer:
- Full-time permanent position on 12 hour rotating day/night shift roster;
- Days on/off, either 7/7, 5/5, or 4/4;
- FIFO - flights paid, or company vehicle allocated if residing locally
- Up to $70 p/h + Super
- All PPE supplied
Skills & Experience:
- Diesel mechanics & vehicle maintenance skills
- Experience in equipment maintenance and heavy equipment repairs, particularly Cat, Komatsu, & Hitachi
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
- Strong problem-solving, diagnostic skills & attention to detail
- Physical strength & manual dexterity for heavy equipment operation
- Ability to follow technical manuals & instructions
- Excellent teamwork, communication & customer service skills
- Familiarity with safety regulations & practices
- Relevant certifications or trade qualifications (Cert III in Heavy Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a drug & alcohol test
- Must supply own tools
- Standard 11 and CBM certification required
- Previous mining experience is highly regarded
- Willingness to learn & expand knowledge
- Ability to work independently
- The right to permanently live & work in Australia
