It is a multi-disciplinary engineering and technical sciences company that provides high-level engineering and environmental services, advice, and management for multiple sectors including energy, agriculture, infrastructure, government and resources.  We have contributed to large and diverse projects including the iconic telescope, upgrades of Sydney Opera House theatres, and large scale battery projects. 

Advitech is seeking a Mechanical Design Draftsperson who is solution focused with excellent time management and attention to detail.  In this role you will work closely with our design and engineering teams where you will produce drawings and models that contribute to a variety of multi-disciplined projects and clients.



Requirements
  • Preparing 3D models, technical drawings, plans, and designs for mechanical and structural work. Drawings to include detail and assembly drawings, bills of material, general arrangement, sub-assembly, and component drawings.
  • Ensuring all drawings and models are to scale and comply to approved design codes, Standard and scope of works.
  • Conducting site inspections of client sites alongside experienced design drafts people and engineers.
  • Working with clients to develop conceptual design solutions to diverse problems.
  • Assisting in the project costing, tender and quote preparation.

About You

Essential Criteria

  • Drafting certificate or engineering diploma with more than 3 years industrial experience.
  • Familiarity with modelling and drafting in the Autodesk environment (e.g. Inventor, AutoCAD & REVIT).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Current drivers licence.

Mechanical Design Drafters with the following desirable skills will be considered favourably

  • Construction or Mechanical trade background
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and REVIT
