ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

There is currently the opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic experienced Registered Nurse to join our organisation as part of our busy Day Surgery Department. Be part of a great team in an area that offers daily variety at work.

The Day surgery Unit includes many different specialties including Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Urology, Plastics and Angiography. We are also a DOSA (Day of Admission) centre.

Located in North Sydney there are numerous public transport options available for getting to work including 3 train stations within walking distance.  For staffing wishing to drive, onsite parking is offered to afternoon and night duty staff with on street parking close by.

ABOUT YOU:

Essential Criteria:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in acute surgical nursing
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and deliver quality patient care
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development
  • To be dedicated to working hard in a close team environment
  • To be dedicated to delivering high standards of care

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous Day Surgery experience
  • Previous recovery experience
