The Opportunity

Our Lysaght business is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join the Team based in Tamworth. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

In this varied role, you will be the first point of contact for our resellers, roof fixers and building customers requiring a variety of superior products and solutions that we offer. Your day will see you managing the customer order lifecycle from beginning to end, ensuring that orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Partnering closely with internal teams to deliver on customer expectations, success will grow from your ability to embrace the persistence to see a job through to the end.

What Will You Do?

Being the face of BlueScope for our customers, you will be:

  • interacting with our customers via phone and email, managing orders, quotes and queries
  • follow up quotations and enquiries, converting these into sales opportunities
  • collaborating with internal stakeholders including marketing, warehouse and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met - including product specifications, production and delivery timetable
  • providing internal support and regular feedback to our sales teams with customer information 
  • resolving issues and seeking ways to improve the customer’s experience
