About the opportunity
Provide expert nursing consultation and liaison with Midwives, Nurses, and other health professionals and work closely with the Perinatal Mental Health Care service, at Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg.
Work closely with Mercy Heath's Perinatal Mental Health (PMH) Care service and within established clinical guidelines and pathways of care.
Support midwives and nurses to coordinate psychiatric and behavioural management nursing interventions in maternity and specialist wards.
Provide education in the psychiatric management of patients
Be part of a multi-disciplinary team that requires you to provide highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers.

Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem-solve.
A compassionate, flexible, and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
● A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
● Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
