Clinical Lead / Nurse Educator

An exciting opportunity to work alongside a highly dedicated multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care to residents across Doutta Galla's eight aged care homes. As Clinical Lead / Nurse Educator you will significantly impact the quality of care of our residents by providing clinical facilitation, education, supervision, mentoring and consultation to staff. This is a 6 month maximum term (parental leave cover) position.

This role includes:

• Implementing a clinical education framework and program to support Doutta Galla’s person centred care approach.
• Providing contemporary education programs to ensure a flexible and highly skilled workforce.
• Demonstrating and promoting clinical expertise and best practice standards.
• Monitoring the quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and supporting staff to deliver care of the highest standard.
• Inspiring, influencing and supporting leadership teams to contribute to and foster a positive learning culture within their homes.

To be successful in the role you will have:

• A strong commitment to high quality, person centred care.
• Effective leadership and negotiation skills.
• Expertise in designing, delivering, assessing and evaluating clinical education programs.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and education of self and others.
• Ability to be creative, innovative and flexible so as to effectively implement change and manage complex issues.
• Current RN registration with AHPRA and ideally a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training.
