About the role

We are excited to present an opportunity for a hands-on Cleaning Supervisor who will lead and work alongside the cleaning team to ensure that all facilities are maintained in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. As the Cleaning Supervisor, you will:

• Lead and supervise a team to deliver exceptional cleaning services.
• Schedule and assign tasks to staff.
• Monitor performance and ensure the quality of cleaning services.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules.
• Provide estimated hours to the estimator for quoting and tendering.
• Model safe working practices and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Manage operations within the allocated budget.
• Prepare reports and handle general administrative tasks.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in a cleaning role, including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
• Ability to train and motivate team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and carrying for extended periods in various environmental conditions.
• Possession of a Working with Children Blue Card and successful completion of a Police Check.
• Current C Class Driver’s License.
• CPCCOHS1001A certification for working safely in the construction industry.
• A qualification in facilities management, cleaning operations, or a related field is desirable
