About the Role
St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) is seeking a number of passionate and experienced Theatre Scrub/Scout Registered Nurses to join our team.
You will be required to competently scrub and scout for:
Cardiac
Neuro
Ortho
ENT, urology, plastics
General surgical procedures.
You will use your exceptional clinical skills to efficiently and accurately plan, coordinate and evaluate care needs to ensure high quality care in a rapidly changing environment.
These positions are critical positions within SVHM and are responsible for the delivery of expert clinical care within a specific area in Perioperative Services under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager or Associate Nurse Unit Manager.
Classifications for the Bank RN position will range from ZU3 - ZU11 ($67,527.2 - $95,378.40 per annum) pro rata + 25% casual loading

You will also have:
Current condition free registration with AHPRA.
Demonstrated minimum 2-3 years previous experience as a Registered Nurse in an operating theatre. Experience with ENT, urology, plastics, orthopaedics and general surgical cases is preferred.
Postgraduate qualifications in critical care nursing are also preferred, but not essential.
Current National criminal history check and NDIS check, or willing to obtain.

St Vincent's Perioperative Suite houses 12 theatres, a Day Procedures Unit, 3
Endoscopy Suites and 2 Post Anaesthetic Care Areas. We undertake over 13,000 procedures per year in a vast range of highly specialised and complex specialities over a 24-hour period, 7 days per week.
