How you will build your expertise within Cabrini's Postgraduate Program:
Applications are now open for experienced Registered Nurses to participate in Cabrini’s Postgraduate Nurse Program. Commencing in February 2025 for durations of 12 to 24 months, the programs participants will gain academic knowledge and skills for advanced clinical practice within one of the following areas of specialty:
Intensive Care Unit (Internal applications only)
Cardiac (Internal applications only)
Oncology (Internal applications only)
Neurology (Internal applications only)
Palliative Care (Internal applications only)
Emergency Nursing
Perioperative (including Anaesthetics/PACU & Scrub/Scout)
During the program, Cabrini offers:

Program Structure:
The Postgraduate Nurse Program comprises up to four units of study. The course will be delivered via study days and online and will require various competency and assessment tasks to be completed in the clinical workplace.

ED - Monash
Perioperative - Monash
Cardiac - Monash
Neurology - Monash
Palliative Care - Flinders University
Cancer Nursing - University of Melbourne

On successful completion of the program, participants will have gained sufficient credits for award of a Graduate Certificate in Nursing within the relevant specialty.

To be eligible for the Cabrini Postgraduate Nursing program you will have:
Australian working rights
Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
Victorian Working with Children Check (where applicable)
A minimum of 2 years nursing experience post registration
Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
Excellent customer service focus and communication skills
