Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements
18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare • NDIS screeing
One hour per week or fortnight for 6months or longer, between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
