Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients across all industries. They will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that promote optimal health and wellness.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans for patients with a wide range of conditions and injuries
- Providing hands-on physiotherapy treatments, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educating patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and home exercise programs
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care
- Supervising and mentoring junior physiotherapists and support staff
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
- Current registration and licensure with the relevant regulatory body
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a physiotherapist, with a focus on musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
