We have a part-time Early Childhood Educator position available, covering maternity leave from now until October 2025. Previous experience in early childhood education and a strong commitment to supporting a quality early learning program are essential. We're seeking an educator who takes initiative and demonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

About the role:

This is a Maternity Leave position available immediately until October 2025.

  • The role of the educator is key in supporting the Early Childhood Teacher in the delivery of the kindergarten program.
  • The position requires you to work on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with children in attendance from 9:00 AM to 2:15 PM. The educator is expected to work 6.45 hours each of these days.
  • This is a stand-alone kindergarten which provides a program for children turning 4 and operates in school term times only.

The successful applicants will have:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or actively working towards these
  • Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard
  • Hold a current Blue Card and hold current first aid/CPR including asthma and anaphylaxis
  • Experience in developing engaging educational programs to support the learning and development of children
  • Proven experience building and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships with Children, Families and Colleagues.
